Born in Israel in 1960, Itamar Harari gained his degree in architecture from Florence University in 1989. After transferring to Milan, he began collaborating with important studios. He now has his own design studio whose activities embrace architecture, interior decoration and, in particular, design in collaboration with firms like Foscarini, Valli & Valli, Prealpi, Brandoni, Visentin, Rapsel, Carmenta, Sanelli, Gedy, Luxo. He has lectured at Milan Polytechnic, and the Academies of Fine Arts of Brera, Milan, Ascola in Tel Aviv and Bezalel in Jerusalem as well as contributing to numerous specialist journals.
The designer Liana Cavallaro qualified in Goldsmithery in 1980 and in languages in 1985. She abandoned her studies at the Dams University of Bologna to re-locate to New York. On her return to Italy two years later she qualified in Design at the International Polytechnic of Milan and, in 1990, began working with Ettore Sottsass, Jr. In the year 2000 she opened Studio Dopo, also in Milan, where she works to this day applying herself to many different products, with constant attention to their ease and practicality of use, avoiding every excess of form.
